Copywriting
Well written words get great results.
Every business operating in the property management sector needs copy to help raise profile, build reputation, engage customers and ultimately to drive new business opportunities. Whatever the purpose, your written work needs to be of the appropriate length, accurate, formatted correctly and usually you’ll need it fast.
Whether you would like your own words polished or a new project started from scratch, we have helped managing agent and supplier partners with their copy in the following ways.
Website content
A great looking website is important, of course, so choose your images carefully. It’s the words, however, that urge visitors to your site to stay there and take the action you wish them to take. If you’re a managing agent with a great looking website but the words are drab, let’s see what we can do for you.
More often than not, a decision to change your website – whether you’re a property owner, property management practitioner or a supplier – means the baby goes out with the bathwater. So writing your website copy from scratch is a great opportunity to tell us what you’d like to achieve and the words will do the selling.
Blogs and articles
We hear it a lot. You’ve got a great idea for a blog or article, yet you don’t know how to put those ideas down on paper. That’s where we come in. We’ll talk, understand the subject matter, the writing style you want to employ, practical matters like word count, where it’ll be published (on your website, on LinkedIn, in an industry publication) and creatively write the article to get the messages across to your target market.
We can even help with appropriate images that help catch the reader’s attention in the first place. And help you reach a wider audience through introductions to industry publications.
Shadow blogging can be outsourced to us ad hoc or for a series of blogs. We can access the back-end of your website or log in as you on LinkedIn, our aim is to write your blog or article and upload it ready for reading. Soup to nuts.
Award submissions
There are numerous award ceremonies throughout the year that celebrate the achievements of property management companies and the suppliers that support them. News on the Block, ARMA, Property Week and the RICS all run extremely well attended and very enjoyable black-tie awards evenings (see Events). The independent judges for these awards are well known, respected and most have large followings on social media.
With considerable success, we have written award submissions for numerous firms. Following the clear guidelines provided by the organisers and understanding what the judges were looking for are crucial for success. Whilst the written submission is all important – especially getting the balance right between extolling one’s virtues and boasting – it’s what accompanies the written submission that can make all the difference. Creativity opportunities are limited with these awards but they exist.
